what a mess

Well, the good news – Indy got a check up and she is 100% fine. I’m so relieved. What a massive stress off of me. I guess it was the perfect storm of her schedule being off, new food, stealing cat food, and Chase and I being closed up in our individual work rooms (which we don’t usually do, but needed to keep the kitten out).

Anyway, yesterday I finished altering my Peggy shirt, worked on the back of the Anne dress (I think it’s done except for re-attaching the hook and eyes – I may switch to snaps), finished the hand-sewing on the Johanna dress (god it’s a mess), made and attached the chiffon sleeve part to the shirt and glued on the rest of the “wood” pieces I had.

Chase cut some more leather strips for me, going to paint them at lunch so hopefully can get that part finished tonight, and start working on the collar/wrist pieces.
I think if I REALLY dig in I could have Johanna pretty much finished by Friday.

I was hesitant to post that picture above because of how messy everything is… but then I was like, it’s 6 days til DragonCon, of course everything is a mess, let’s take a picture of the whole mess.

There’s more mess in the kitchen but thankfully it’s been pretty well contained beyond that.
