“I could no sooner choose a favourite star in the heavens!”

I’ve had so many books I’ve loved. I’ll just talk about some that come to mind.

Of course I’ve enjoyed all the Harry Potter books. Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams. The His Dark Materials trilogy – The Golden Compass, etc by Philip Pullman. The original 14 Oz books by Baum (I’ve never read any of the hundred more Oz books written by other authors after his death.)

I recently finished Victorian London: The Tale of a City 1840–1870 by Liza Picard. It was very interesting and reminded me “Devil in the White City” by Erik Larson. I really loved that book – Ash loaned it to me during my semester of Architecture when we were studying that time period. I’d like to reread it.

For my birthday I was given The Hunger Games and Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins. They’re really good and I couldn’t put them down. Having to wait for the 3rd one to come out is killing me!
