hsv expo planning

We’re coming back to HSV Expo this year and since it’s coming up fast… I really need to figure out what costumes I’m bringing.

Kevin is bringing his casual Star Lord bound he didn’t get to wear at disney and he requested farmboy Luke. Dunno what Chase is bringing.

So after a lot of thought here’s what I’m thinking of bringing – keeping it to 4 costume (2 friday 2 saturday) and for this con I prefer to bring things not large and easily walkable, since that’s mostly what we do at this con – walk around the dealer’s hall.

1. MoM Scarlet Witch – I know I’ve already worn it a lot but I love it and it’s easy to walk in and looks cool. This one has been top of my list since we decided to go.
2. Regular Leia – to go with Kevin’s farmboy Luke
3. Shin Hati – need to wear it again. It’ll be hot, but i’ll live.

Now for my 4th I’m having trouble deciding. Here’s my options:
-Troi – but I need to restyle the wig, it was a mess after the shoot. Dunno if I feel like doing that – and also dunno if I want to walk around not being able to fully see since I can’t wear my real contacts while I have the black contacts in.
-T’Lyn – easier option than Troi since I don’t have to redo anything, but not feeling so hot about wearing a skin tight uniform right now.
-Seven of Nine – same thing here, also dunno that I want pros-aide on my face I have to scrape off for the following 3 weeks.
-Tatooine Padme – but I do already feel my list of costumes is very Star Wars heavy, and this fabric is fragile so not sure I want to take it into a crowded con floor.
-Breha – same here.
-Jedi Training Leia – again with do I really want to take a 3rd Star Wars costume? I’d love to wear this again but I feel like it only makes sense if I throw Kevin in Jedi Luke.
-Nadja – she’s fun to wear but I’d skip the fangs. Having some dental stuff going on rn so I don’t want to glue stuff to my teeth rn.
-Scully – kinda tempting because I have new glasses I could wear with it? But also it’s all just amazon stuff so not really showing off my costuming. I’ll prob save it for dragoncon.
-Eliza Schulyer – I’d have to repaint the shoes. And if I took it I’d use my own hair. Would be fun? I’ve been thinking about selling it so taking it out once more would be nice.
-Lucy – yeah I know I said I want things easy to walk around in and this is not that… but I feel like it might be a good venue for it otherwise?
-Tightrope Walker – haven’t worn it in a while. Seems like the con always appreciates disney stuff so it’d be fun.

I think that’s plenty of options for for the 4th costume. I’m leaning towards a trek costume because of the trek guests coming, but I can’t decide which. I’ll have to marinate on it.
