Can dragoncon just be here so I don't have to keep sewing?? LOL I've almost got Belle done. All the swags are finished, they just need to be attached, and then beading and roses. Yesterday I cleaned my office from top to bottom. It took most of the morning but my office is a much more pleasant place to be now. I then tackled Batgirl again, instead of Belle like I said I was going to. I finished the boots - the top's a little more wrinkly than I'd like but at this point we're going with it. Got a lot done this weekend. The group costumes are totally done except for a hook and eye on mine. Ash's costume is done except for sewing some greeblies on the bottom. Cath's costume needs the front piece sewn in ( can't do until she comes to try it on on wednesday), sew the trim on, sew the lower sleeves in, and the ribbon up the front. And finish the wig. ...
Still plugging along, but I don't have much to show since for the past week I've been working nonstop on the two group costumes. One group is completely done except sewing on some hook and eyes and velcro. The other group is about 70% there and my plan is to have it done by Saturday. I finished my Batgirl pants. Only took two tries. But they fit decently well... and I never want to make pants without a pattern ever again. So tonight I will start on the waist section.... I dyed Cath's Winnie costume last night. Seems to have turned out pretty well, although I ran out of one colour to mix with the main colour, so had to improvise to finish it off. ...
