Crap, I had a long-ass post written out about crazy stuff last night and Donna progress and wordpress just had an error when I went to post and didn’t even save the draft. WTF :\
So, short version:
1. Bad migraine day yesterday
2. Cath came over and we made a bunch of capes for her summer camp
3. Chase locked himself out of his car
4. Cath called Triple A and they came and got the door open
5. We followed a suspicious car around my cousin’s neighborhood
All of that to say I didn’t get a lot of time to do much last night. New progress:
I can see the light at the end of the tunnel with the top part. I have no plans this weekend (thus far) so my plans are to camp on the couch and bead and bead and bead and bead and bead and bead and bead. Marvel movie marathon maybe?
I still have the bottom half to go which is even MORE, but I think I’m right on schedule to have it done for Dragoncon. I’m not doing the backside, only the front. A little bit of a cop-out, but if I tried to do both sides, I would not have it done in time… and at the end of the day, it’s only a costume, and one a lot of people won’t recognize. I don’t see the point in pouring 12 months worth of work into it. 3? Sure. But not 12. Haha.
