7 Days To Go: The coolest thing you ever bought at DragonCon
Hmm. Over the years we’ve gotten to where we really don’t buy much anymore.
We did get this Kingdom Come Wonder Woman statue I’ve always wanted a couple of years ago, now displayed next to my helmet:
And, I don’t have a photo of them, but you know that one dealer who sells the vintage movie posters and art? We were admiring a Marx Brothers poster one year, and after talking to him a bit he showed us some old Marx Brothers photos/lobby cards (?) from Horse Feathers. The story that went with them was that this guy at an old theater put together these lobby cards for movies, and had ended up with a huge old collection of these things. I bought the 4, because whether they’re worth anything or not I thought they were pretty cool – 4 old photos of Harpo. I’ve been meaning to get them framed but still haven’t.
