Group progress: Time Lord Updates

All Time Lords, all the time this weekend.

Derek’s is completely done YAY… mine is done except for putting on some hook and eyes. Chases’s just need hems and to finish the belt.
Ash still needs a lot, but I think I’m finally to the point it’s like sleep walking, so I’m hoping to be done with ALL of it by tuesday.

Here’s some pics from the weekend.

The collar:

The upper collar piece I made of a cotton velvet. They nearly disappear once the fiberglass collar is in place, but I was pretty happy with the look. They make the robe look nice and regal if you decide to wear it without the large collar.Kelldar.com | My Facebook Page | Tumblr | Instagram
The under-robes (with pockets!):

One of the underrobes. And an Indy! Each robe was backed in cotton to allow for some airflow. It won't be seen anyway, and that way we were able to use less of the embroider taffeta. I also built pockets into two of the robes at the wearer's request. For my own, I just added openings in the side hem so I could get into the pockets of the shorts I wore underneath.Kelldar.com | My Facebook Page | Tumblr | Instagram
Hemmed:

One robe almost finished! Still needed to top-stitch the collar. I was still playing around with the idea of the hoop in the hem. Looked nice as long as you weren't moving.Kelldar.com | My Facebook Page | Tumblr | Instagram

(Not really sure I’m like the hooping in the hem. It’s flipping around too much when walking. May nix it – if we do, yours is totally remove-able, Derek.)

Gallifreyan sweatshop:

The guys putting trim on the finished collars. We could not find enough of one kind of trim to use on all four, so we each just picked out a trim we liked.Kelldar.com | My Facebook Page | Tumblr | Instagram
Derek’s robe, with my collar:

My nearly finished robe and collar! The robe still needed a little bit of finishing and the fiberglass collar just needed the seals.Kelldar.com | My Facebook Page | Tumblr | Instagram
My collar and Chase’s collar (guess which is which):

The guys made 3 sizes of collars so they would work with the wearer. As you can see, Chase's is much larger than mine. I was "The Littlest Time Lord'Kelldar.com | My Facebook Page | Tumblr | Instagram
