As a costumer, I hate that moment when you see someone say, “I’ve never seen anyone do this costume well.” And you’ve done that costume and all you can think is, “omg, did they see mine and think it was crap? Is it crap? maybe they never saw it. or maybe they did and they think it’s crap!!” LOL.
Anyway – been working on Enchantress. I’ve been having issues with the skirt fabric, I had to run out and buy some stabilizer for it. When we pulled into the parking lot I recognized the car in front of us – it was my parents LOL They were going to the fabric store, too- my mom is in a play and needs to make a few costume pieces for herself.
I have this friday off, and I’m hoping to have all the circles for my boots cut out by then, so I can spend the day sewing them on.
I also got my silver leather for my MidSouthcon costume. The piece is much smaller than I expected but I think I can make it work – I just can’t screw up. Ack.
