Dragoncon kinda signals the end of the “season” for me – I generally start thinking about next year around this time of the year. So here’s my thoughts for next year…
Halloween/GMX: Not making anything new for GMX – but I’m going to make Briar Rose for Halloween. I need to finish off my new Aurora wig I bought last year, and it’ll be pretty simple. For GMX, provided I can take Lady Gaga with me – I’m going to make a new corset, and new hoops. Got a couple of little things for Kevin but both are piece-mealed.
MidSouthCon: I know exactly what I’m doing but I’m keeping it on the dl 🙂
We haven’t decided on what little con we’re going to go to, if any, early next year. So otherwise it’s just what do I want to work on?
Batgirl – do I want to revisit this? I’d still like to do it. I kinda lost interest but when I found fabric I liked I kinda wanted to go back to it.
Something disney – either Charlotte or Cinderella.
Another Lady Gaga? I’d still like to do the Minnie Mouse Paparazzi outfit.
I’d like to do Magik in her regular X-uniform. Or pretty much any character – just a simple, comfortable costume.
I’d like to finally tackle that Marie Antoinette.
work on Bespin Leia. how many times have I said that?
I’d like to remake She-Ra.
I’d like another superhero in there but I don’t know what… I really had fun revisiting my roots with Magik, I’d love to find another character from the same era.
