The parks “adventure” Leia outfit. I’m probably going to revisit the face on this one, it’s off – I blame having to spend so much time drawing pleats and quilting lines LOL

Of course I had to do those silly doll costumes.

So all of those, along with the one I’m working on now, puts me at 30. I’d love to get to 50, but I can’t find enough costumes to get to 50. Here’s what I’m thinking:

1. End of ESB
2. the braids down Hoth outfit she was messing in around in on set, I know it’s not canon but it’s cute
3. Sandstorm
4. Force Ghost
5. The comic “adventure” variation with the fancier hair (ugh another hoth variation)
6. The comic suit with the bespin hair and the white bodysuit with grey panels (ugh another bodysuit)
7. TFU 2 Jedi outfit
8. Harbinger dress
9. Poster dress
10. Green 80s dress (it’s so funny to me)
11. Splinter of Mind’s Eye (ugh another vest and pants)
12. EU Maternity outfit (ugh it’s so ugly)
13. Blue vest/brown pants (ugh another vest and pants)
14. Princess of Alderaan ceremonial variation
15. Mal’ary’ush dress (would be fun to interpret?)
16. Zeltron dress (same)
17. White dark side armor

And at that point I’m coming up empty. I could try my hand at visualizing some of the costumes from The Princess & the Scoundrel? I did actually draw one of them a couple of years ago to maybe make for myself. (I don’t want to do the child ones from Obi-Wan Kenobi)

I had my 2nd treatment on my teeth Thursday. It was supposed to be this coming Wednesday, but they had a cancellation and I took the opening to get it done a week earlier. I don’t have to go back for another 6 weeks now so they can see how things are looking at that point. I hate how close that’s going to push things to dragoncon and I’m really hoping they can move fast at that point so I can get healed and feeling ok well before. Like I’m going to have to tell them whatever you’re going to do needs to happen in the next week and some change, or after Labor Day. To add to the stress they want me to go to my GP and get a blood test to send to them. Oh boy. I made the appointment in the car on the way home while I was still high on the valium before I come to my senses LOL. It’s next week so at least I have this week to chill without being an anxious mess.

Other than that I’ve just been embroidering nonstop. I’m ALMOST halfway done with the chain stitches on the skirt.

I’m maybe a quarter done with the front panel and left side is done. I’m averaging about 3 days per panel, so I’m gunning to be finished by the end of this month.

HOLY SHIT look at that uneven hem. I haven’t steamed anything besides that first back panel to relax it, but I know I’m going to have to rehem everything when it’s said and done. I’m ok with that. Right now that bottom edge is protected and not fraying.

Ordered more fabric for the skirt lining since I had the revelation that what I made will not work shape wise. Also got my wigs for my other 2 costumes.

Our A/C went out Thursday night. Somehow, despite me now being very susceptible to being HOT, I did not notice, but Chase did. Thankfully was able to get somebody out Friday, who replaced the motor. The motor was under warranty, the work was not. Got it working again only for for it to go out again right around bed time. They couldn’t come back out until like 7 Saturday night, and it just ended up being that the first tech didn’t tighten everything up correctly and the fan fell off.

Ran some errands Saturday, checked out a new toy store. Stayed home yesterday, embroidered all day.

I’m off Thursday and Friday this week. Why? Just cuz. Kevin’s not getting to go to camp this year, so I’m taking him to get his haircut, go swimming, see a movie. I let him pick between Backrooms and He-Man and he picked He-Man. I’m perfectly happy to see He-Man again.

I also have a new snack obsession, this local place that makes this little square cookies. OMG. They are not open on weekends so I may go get myself some Thursday. Chase has gotten me some on each day of my dental treatments because they are near there. These will be my treat for going to the doctor next week LOL
