Another weird week. Didn’t go out for New Year’s – that’s not new, we haven’t gone out in years – but we also still didn’t have Christmas because half the family is still covid positive. My mom finally tested negative this morning.
Last week we had Cath & family staying with us for a couple of days.
We really need to roll back the carpet in Kevin’s room, tighten up the floorboards and add in some more soundproofing. But we had fun anyway, played this boba game that was a lot of fun, had dinner together. Their flight was canceled the last night so they ended up renting a car and driving back to FL! That’s what I would’ve done too. Glad they made it home safely.
I was off Thursday and Friday (and Monday), so I had a long weekend of doing a fat lot of nothing. I really should’ve started working on the cruise dress because i’m staring down a barrel of this trip coming up in just over a month. But I did not. Going to start this week.

For that last pic, I literally just threw Grogu up in the air and posed. Worked pretty well for a “floating” pic LOL
You’ll notice there’s no Seven of Nine pics. Like I mentioned before I want to reshoot it, and main thing is I want to thin and restyle the wig which I haven’t done yet. I’m hoping to do that this week and reshoot her this weekend.
I did also reshoot Bespin Leia, ceremonial Leia (now with bracelet!) but haven’t gotten those up yet – we just did those yesterday. And when I reshoot Seven, also going to be reshooting the Padme veranda nightgown (with the new wig).
I had wanted to also shoot some old costumes but doesn’t look like I’m going to get to it. I need to get my sewing room cleaned up and back in working order. I’ve got a bunch of stuff I need to make over the next month and a half.
I do have a bunch of stuff I need to update here on the site. I’ll be doing that bit by bit over the next week (hopefully) -adding the new pics, etc. Also need to add in all the new art I still haven’t even posted here…
