Ok I was hoping to have this post up last week, but Chase had a lot of trouble exporting the photos and I was only getting them in chunks. I think I’ve got all of them now, or at least, most of them. Might be a few more stragglers.
Besides uploading pics, last week was absolutely crazy at work, and only going to get crazier… I spent most evenings laying on the couch uploading pics or updating the site trying to physically recover from dragoncon while also mentally trying to forget about work until the morning LOL.
Friday we tested again and another negative. Saturday we drove up to St Louis to visit with friends and attend our goddaughter’s baptism! It was a fun weekend. Got home yesterday evening. So now here we are. I’m exhausted LOL

Sunday… again trying to find a place to take pics with no one around.
This corner was great for about 2 shots before a bunch of people came and sat right next to us to eat. Not complaining, but I wish we could’ve gotten more indoor pics than outdoor because in this case I liked these better than the outdoor.
Chase tried but it just doesn’t really scream Rivendell LOL And I did not have the energy by Sunday to hike over to Hardy Ivy.
And lastly a “TVA” shot.
I did better with my Wanda wig on Sunday than Saturday but I still need a little more “width” near the top. just something i need to keep in mind for next time.
So like I said I’ve been updating the site. So far I’ve got Diane and Roxy fully added, while Bail and Padme and Scarlet Witch construction pages ARE up and finished but currently only available through the portfolio – haven’t had time to draw dressform tabs yet. Sometime this week.
And HERE is the whole Dragoncon 2021 gallery as it is right now, it’s a bit out of order and probably has some iphone repeats but I should have it more organized in the next couple of days.
So next up for me, #1 is reorganizing my costume bins. I plan to pull all the bins out into my sewing room, reorganize all the contents and find homes for the new costumes. I’m also planning on instituting a numbering system, and they will enter the closet in numerical order. That way when I’m looking for a specific bin i don’t have to try to remember WHERE I put it in the closet.
Then I’ll be starting on Utena. Brain’s already chugging.
Don’t have any events planned for the rest of the month or Oct — but hoping to do Memphis Japan Festival and MCFC in November.
Next weekend Kevin is gonna come over, we’re going to watch some movies, eat good stuff for my birthday, record some tiktoks, and maybe finally go see the disney exhibit?
