Site updates: Patreon Print Store is live. I been waffling about where to list all of my costume/art prints I’ve been saying I’m going to list for ages. And then it was finding the time to individually list them all. But then I realized, hey I need stuff for my new patreon. Let’s just make them all a patreon reward and then I don’t have to list them anywhere. I can just post a pic of everything I have and people can pick from it LOL. So if you want a print you can sign up for one month at the $12 tier and get whichever one you want. Or you can get 2 of the small art prints. Yay.
I’ve already unfriended somebody on social media who was being a dick about how much they hated TLJ. Like… totally fine if somebody hated it, which I’ve seen several people say they hated it. But there’s no need to be rude to people who did enjoy it. Bye Felicia.
And I did enjoy it. Was it perfect? No, I had some nitpicks of course. But it was a whole lot of fun and I actually went into it NOT spoiled (even though I TRIED to get spoiled… haha.) I want to see it again.
Now… the movie going experience was not great, it reminded me WHY I hate going to opening night movies now. People can be so rude.
Anyway we had tickets for the earliest showing, the “VIP experience” which meant we got free popcorn and some cards that were pretty neat. When we got there the theater was already open but we got the seats we liked. I miss getting in line and being able to see everybody’s costumes (not that there were that many) and star wars outfits/shirts! But when we left the theater was absolutely packed with lines of people waiting to get into later showings and then I was like… yeah I’m glad I was able to just go in and sit down, so maybe not. LOL.
I had to get a pic in my Leia costume with the poster, since this is 06 Leia’s last hoorah. I’m surprised I was able to sit through such a long movie while wearing it though!
So non-spoiler-y’s but a few thoughts. I loved Leia’s costumes. I don’t know which I want to make first. Like I said in my lats post it’ll depend on fabric. I love the 2 TLJ costumes SOOO much more than her TFA ones! Loved Rose, she was adorable. Holdo was awesome. I liked all the animals – the porgs, the horse-like things (? I don’t remember what they called them), the foxes. I loved casino setting/costumes/aliens.
Nitpicky things, the plot felt a little all over the place. I did think it felt long, even though I’ve seen people say “it doesn’t feel long!” There was a part with Leia that was… weird. I don’t know how I feel about it. Like, I kinda liked it, but kinda didn’t, and I don’t know what the point of it was. I also feel like there wasn’t a lot of resolution to stuff brought up in TFA, like story advancement was… minimal.
I want to see it again because I feel like my thoughts will be more solidified after a second viewing.
I have a lot of feelings ok?!

Mom brought me some old christmas decorations in that box the other day. As soon as I saw the box I recognized it… it has drawing around the edges to make it look like a car, obviously done by a little kid. I was that little kid! I remember drawing these on and sitting in it at our old house! I can’t believe this box still exists. LOL. I set it on the floor for Luna and told her, “Mommy used to play in this too!”
