Last night I got the bodice finished up, and finally got to try everything on:
Buuut once I had it all on, I realized that the bodice is too long on me, and too pointy. So at lunch today I’m going to take it part, tonight I’ll shorten it and put it back together. Hopefully that won’t take long; it just depends on it this picky fabric will work with me.
Anyway as you can see the skirt is not attached yet, I’m hoping if I can finish the bodice back up tonight I can also get the skirt attached – then the main part of the dress will be finished and it’ll just be sleeves and trims left to do.
