I still can’t completely decide what to take to Momocon. So thinking “outloud” here.
I’m definitely taking Meg, since it’s new and I should have it done in the next couple of weeks.
I don’t think I’ll have time to also finish Johanna. It’s was planned for Dragoncon anyhow so no big deal.
I was planning on taking Belle – but I’m doing a photoshoot with her Sunday so that may make me feel like I don’t need to wear it again anytime soon.
I’ll probably take Donna because it’s easy and comfortable.
When I did my Belldandy photoshoot earlier this year, it made me want to wear her again. So I was playing around with that idea – especially since here I am going to an anime con without an anime costume, otherwise.
Was thinking about Glimmer, but only if some of the MOTU group reconvenes.
Fionna was a maybe because it’s comfortable, but… not feeling it, even though I do need new photos of it.
Sarah Sanderson… I love the costume and would like to wear it again, but I don’t know if it would make sense without the other 2. Maybe just wear it alone for fun, dunno.
So those are really the only things I’ve got in my head. It’ll probably end up being Meg, Belle, Belldandy and Donna. If I leave Belle behind, may replace it with Glimmer or Fionna.
And in other costume-planning news, I had a huge crisis in my Dragoncon yesterday, because I for whatever reason decided that the list I’d put together earlier this year wasn’t well-rounded enough? Such a stupid thing to be flipping out over but there I was.
I like to take a variety of stuff. I haven’t always accomplished that, but even the years that were 80% superhero I felt like I at least had a good selection of different silhouettes, looks, colours. Earlier in the year, I finalized my list and thought it was good, but yesterday I decided it wasn’t.
I think I’m just feeling like it’s not complete because I DON’T have a brightly coloured superhero.

4. Peggy Carter (new)
5. Surprise! (new)
6. Anne Boleyn (new)
7. Arachne (new – maybe)

9. Donna Runaway Bride (maybe)
10. Dr. Forrester
11. Marie Antoinette TARDIS (reworked – maybe. I had a cute idea.)
12. Emma or Valkyrie (one or the other. leaning towards Emma since I did some changes on it for Dragoncon last year and then didn’t wear it)
13. Glimmer (maybe, if the band gets back together)
14. Megara (new for Momocon)
That’s more than I generally like to bring, but whatever.
