Christmas day was fun but exhausting!
Woke up at 6:30 because poor Indy had wet her bed. Clean-up and a quick bath ensued – she was ticked off about having to have a bath.
We watched the Disney parade and then headed over to my parent’s house for breakfast and gifts, before going to my aunt and uncle’s for a late Christmas lunch/early dinner that was sooo yummy. Kevin and I had fun taking silly pictures and videos and the Customize-Your-Own-Sonic-Screwdriver set my grandparents got for him was a giant hit – he skipped dessert to keep playing with it.
Then we went back to my parents to meet up with Ash and her parents, and then by the time we got home it was already late. So it was a long but fun day.
Gifts!!
First off, I got my much-begged-for purple Nintendo 3ds and Animal Crossing!!
I know Chase is glad to not have to hear about it anymore, LOL.
I got a bunch of awesome Doctor Who stuff… books… picture frames… Beauty and the Beast puzzle! (only puzzle I got this year!), calendars, gift cards, money. Lots of Disney gift cards which I asked for for our trip!
I have one conundrum – my parents got me the 11 minifig Doctors, which I was excited about. I thought they were different than the set I won in the BBC contest a couple of years ago, but I got home and they’re the same figures…… except 2, 3, 4 and 11 are slightly different figures. So now I don’t know what to do – do I take it back since it’s similar and pick out another DW item, or keep it since they’re slightly different and then I can have one in the box and one set out on display? I don’t know!
It’s a fun problem to have either way. Too many doctors is not really a problem.
