I wanted to write a little more about our Hocus Pocus costumes, because I was thinking in the car just how much of those costumes I dyed LOL
Really it’s easier to list what I did NOT dye, than to list what I dyed.
I did NOT dye:
Mary’s skirt
Mary’s bodice lining
Winnie’s darker purple skirt
Winnie’s sleeves
Winnie’s front purple piece
Sarah’s green “back” skirt
That’s it, everything else I dyed. The bodice fabric for Mary, the shirt fabric for Mary, Winnie’s entire green dress, Winnie’s under-skirts (the lighter purple ones), my bodice lining, my bodice fabric, the red eyelet fabric for my skirt (dyed darker red), and the chiffon for the side skirts on mine, all of that was dyed! I didn’t realise how much I did on those until looking back at it, because they were so spread apart (I think I dyed all my stuff back in like May).
I may come back and add some more to this post later, I’d like to break down the costumes further than what I did on my costume page…
