Making my DCNU Wonder Woman Costume

I started on my GMX costume, DCnU Wonder Woman, this weekend.
Here’s my fabric:

Fabric! I have some red canvas and red cotton for the interior of the bodice, and some red matte satin for the outer layer. And some navy blue spandex for the shorts and boots.Kelldar.com | My Facebook Page | Tumblr | Instagram

Red canvas & cotton for the interior of the bodice, red matte satin for the outside. Navy blue spandex for the bottoms. I also bought a pair of navy blue leggings to do the pants version also – I don’t know if I’ll have time to do the stitching on them, but I wanted the option in case it’s cold.

Cutting out the bodice pieces:

Pattern pieces cut. I like to make this pattern a little longer when I use it.Kelldar.com | My Facebook Page | Tumblr | Instagram

I cut them a little longer because this pattern is usually a little short on me.

All of the white stars I could find at the fabric stores were too small, so I pulled out the scraps of my WW fabric:

Here's the scraps of spandex leftover from my previous WW shorts. Decided to cut a couple of stars off of this instead of trying to find an existing star that might work (like an applique piece). Kelldar.com | My Facebook Page | Tumblr | Instagram
And I cut stars out of it, here’s one pinned on:

I still had some scraps from my the fabric I used from my previous Wonder Woman shorts. I cut the stars out of that fabric, I sewed them onto my new shorts before attaching the back.Kelldar.com | My Facebook Page | Tumblr | Instagram
So that’s where I am now. I need to sew the bottom pieces together, get the stars stitched on and finish them off.
I need to sew the satin version of the bodice together, draw out my stitch lines and do the decorative stitching on it. Get that attached to the cotton/canvas ones, finish the edges, put in the grommets.
Waiting on my boots to arrive, will be making boot covers. Chase is doing my belt, chestpiece and tiara out of plastic. I’m using my old gauntlets for now.

Also, here is a video of my Marie Antoinette from dragoncon. I forgot I had this on my phone:
