jerkwad puzzle

So now that the coke puzzle is done, it’s moved off the table and I opened up this thing:

I have NO IDEA how long I’ve had this puzzle. Years. Probably since the OT was rereleased in the theaters – 97? (yep, just went and looked and it’s from 1997). I must have picked it up at the comic book store or something because it was before I was going to conventions. I’ve never put it together – I tried at some point in the past and didn’t get far, I seemed to remember it was missing pieces so I stopped.
It made its way to our house when we moved and I showed it to Chase the other day and he said I needed to put it together. So I pulled it out tonight and started separating the pieces. Whether it’s missing pieces or not I don’t know – it’s possible considering the box was in my closet for so many years and was probably knocked around a bit.
But that’s not really my concern – as soon as I laid the pieces out, I realised they are not cut like every other puzzle I’ve done over the years. The pieces are FUNKY. there’s no rhyme or reason. Holy crap. It looks like a blind monkey cut these pieces.

Missing pieces, funky pieces, probably too big for my table… so I have named this puzzle the Jerkwad Puzzle.
But it should at least keep me busy for longer than the last two.
