a few thoughts about dragoncon pics on flickr

from surfing flickr.

1. photos of some random fetish chick in spandex taken in your basement should not be tagged “dragoncon”, because they aren’t.
2. photos of fish at the aquarium should not be tagged “dragoncon”, because they aren’t.
3. editing is awesome. i know its cool you got pics of your fav celebrity but do we really need to see 300+ pics of him talking at a panel? They’re pretty much all exactly the same. Why not pick the best ones and upload those?
4. Pictures of random people on the escalators? Really? Does anyone care about that? It’s not even costumes. It’s just random people. What is that?

(To be fair I’m guilty of #2 because I tell flickr to automatically tag anything I sent from my phone as “dragoncon” while I’m there. but I fix it when I get home.)
