GMX was this past weekend, it was fun! I really liked the hotel – we could stand outside our 3rd floor room and look over into the main part of the convention/people watch. And the employees were really nice 🙂
It was pretty laid back for us. Chase & Derek sat up a photo booth, I spent my time “helping”… which means just sitting around watching LOL
We didn’t do any panels (or at least I didn’t). We watched the masquerade from the 3rd floor, and went to the Star Wars cantina party. That was fun! We didn’t get to stay out all that late, we were both dead tired from getting up so early that day to drive in.
I wore Huntress most of Saturday, and then Black Canary. After dinner I put on Animated Leia for the SW party. Sunday I managed to sneak in Zatanna for an hour or so before we packed up and left.
Chase wore his clone pilot sat night, and again we took no pics!!! I offered to but he said we’d just take some later. i hope i can find a pic of us online, i know a couple were taken at the party.
The only thing I bought was an awesome Beatles print from Matt Busch. Can’t wait to get it in a frame and put it up in my office.
I hope they do this convention again.
