The blue dress is finished, except ironing. Got it all taken up, hemmed, and the sleeves fixed.
The white shirt still needs the cuffs on the sleeves and the collar. Other than that, it’s finished.
I’m regretting my fabric choice on the shirt, though. Already! Geez.
So, the upcoming Halloween-related events:
Friday – leave for Nashville
Saturday – Nashville Comic/Horror Fest. I’ll be going in blue Belle (since it’ll be finished, yay!) – change into pink Belle for the afternoon.
Then to the zoo for Ghouls at Grassmere – I’ll be putting on yellow Belle for that.
Sunday – Photoshoot for KC Wonder Woman @ the Parthenon
then home…
the next weekend…
Friday – Zoo at the Boo here in Memphis. Wearing Belle again.
Saturday – Trunk or Treat that evening – wearing Wonder Woman. Shouldn’t be too cold, I’ll take a cape just in case (wish I had time to make the big flag cape thing… maybe I can find some cheap fabric… nah) – then see what the girls are doing? Go eat, go downtown? ?
Sunday – nuthin
Halloween day proper – wear blue Belle to work – hand out candy that night at my aunt’s house.
Nov 3 – Chattanooga Fundraiser. Pulling regular Leia out for the first time in a while!
Nov 9 – Cheap Trick in Tunica. Has nothing to do with costuming, but I’m excited as all get out, since we weren’t sure we were going to even be able to afford to go, and then got tickets (and a suite!) for free. SWEET.
And then on into December — Christmas parades, whatever is decided with that, and me working on Bespin Leia mostly. Whoo.
