quick trip to hancock’s today, and I got my dark red lining for my PoA cloak, some green ribbon, and some really awesome wolf-looking fur for the lining of my Lessa costume. I don’t want to cut it up! I want to use it as a blanket x_x It’s so snuggly!!
So, dragoncon to-do list…
Masq Costume: 75%
Main dress is done, shoes are halfway done, accessories are underway.
Lessa: 30%
I cut out all the pieces the other day, and I don’t think it’s going to take long at all to put together. I’m not altering the pattern at all, except for fit, since it’s a man’s pattern. I need to dye my boots, and make the belt piece and shoulder loop. I’ve started on my goggles. Need to find some gloves…
Hermione: 95%
I’m really going ahead and classifying this one was done, but it’s really not. There’s a few things that needs to be done – need to sew the patch onto the sweater, dye my skirt darker and hem it, get some black tights, add the dark red to my cloak and add the closure. Wow that makes it sound a lot less done than 95%… but the fact of the matter is I *could* wear it as it is now, but… I don’t *want* to, which is why it’s 95%.
Amidala: 5%
I have most of my stuff for it, though I still need to go get a freaking wig for it. I can’t believe I’ve waited this long. I’ve got nearly everything mapped out though, except the headpiece. I mull over that damn headpiece every night as I try to go to sleep, and it keeps me up. I hate that stupid headpiece already.

Ash’s Masq Costume: 0%! She’s coming over this weekend to start work on it. Once it gets started I don’t think we’ll have much of a problem – it’s the one major accessory that needs to be done soon, and done well. I can’t wait to get cracking on that thing.
Next two weekends are going to be busy. Yeah, really.
