Thanks to everybody who has let me know that I’m in August’s issue of Newtype USA! I wouldn’t have known if it weren’t for you guys. I managed to snag a copy at the convention this weekend; it’s pretty cool, here’s a scan:
Today has been an exceptionally good day, for four reasons.
1. I got my shoes for Ozma, after having ordered them monday night. Now that’s fast shipping!
2. I got my Space Ghost Coast to Coast DVD set, after having ordered it monday night. Once again, that’s fast shipping. Now I can watch one of my favourite shows, like, all the time, if I want to.
3. I got my Star Wars checks! They are so awesome. I like, never want to use them, I just want to look at them and show them off. There are 8 designs – Luke, Leia, Han, Obi-Wan, Darth Vader, Yoda, Chewbacca and C3P0. I lurve them.
4. So if any of you remember a really long post about my past experiences with my awful teeth – remember how an oral surgery left me with two gaps in my teeth? Remember how I’ve always hated that? Remember how I said one day, eventually, I’d get them fixed?
As of today, I can say, “what gaps?”
Oh man they look so awesome. Once the numbness wears off I’m gonna take a picture. I’m so happy! Eeeeee!! *dances*
Teeth suck. But when they’re fixed? Oooh, yeah. Go you!
