Weird thing… have had the name Ralph Bakshi stuck in my head the past few days. Probably just stuck in there after looking up info on Mighty Mouse for dad. I just ended up going down a rabbit hole about various Ralph Bakshi projects… looked at the IMDB entry for his version of LOTR and turns out the script was co-written by Peter Beagle, who wrote The Last Unicorn. I went to Peter Beagle’s entry, and found this. Weird!! The weirdest part is that the small cast list they have there are the people who played the characters in the ’82 animated version. This is very weird.
Guess I better get my Amalthea costume done before this comes out.
