*peeks in* Er, hi. Yeah, it was a busy weekend, ok? XD
Friday, my parents & Ash’s parents were going on a field trip (our moms are teachers) and it was an overnight thing, so Ash and I stayed out at my house. We had a watergun fight, which I TOTALLY won, yay me! We rented The Waterboy, The Rainmaker, and Oni, and I had bought the 3rd CCS DVD at the mall. Na and Kristie came over and watched Shanghai Noon with us, and then around 11:30 Cath and S came over and watched CCS and spent the night.
The next morning, Cath and S left – Cath had to spend all day working on her Aeris and Suzaku no Miko costumes. I had to go searching for some stuff. So Ash and I went to Party City… I was looking for stupid nunchucks with a cheap plastic chain I could use to join up my Selphie nunchucks. Everything they had with a chain like that on it was too freakin short. But I did find this cool sword for 50 cents that I’m going to use as my Beatrix sword. Then we went to Toys R Us in search of nunchucks, no luck. We walked down to the Hardware store and found a good chain for it, and I also found my grandpa! Hehe! We couldn’t find a person working there to cut the chain for us, so I’m sending my father back later. Then we went to Barnes and Noble so Ash could get books she needs to read over the summer for school. Then we got lunch and ate it at her house… by that time our parents were home. As for Saturday night, I must have worked on stuff, because I have no recollection of Saturday night what-so-ever.
Sunday we had to get up and go over to my gramma’s to finish up my Beatrix and Selphie costumes. Selphie is now 99% done (just gotta get that chain). We made a short pair of shorts for me to wear underneath the dress, since the dress is so short, LOL. We finish my Beatrix jacket and the pants (we gave up trying to find the correct colour leggings or tights). Dad helped me make the belt last night, and mom helped me with the gloves. I just have to add a few things to those, make my eyepatch and my boot covers, and Beatrix will be done. We *started* on Sakura, finally, last night too. It’s going to black instead of dark teal or dark blue, but I like it better black. We made the shirt and the sleeves and laid out the boot covers… we have to go sew them tonight. I found a pair of black biker shorts in one of my drawers that I forgot I had, so luckily we don’t have to make the shorts, too XD I made the bat wing wires last night, too… just gotta find fabric to cover them.
Enjoyed the Simpsons marathon, and Malcolm in the Middle… I didn’t even bother with X-Files. I’ve hardly watched at all this season… or last season… ha. Used to be my fav show, oh well.
Oy, I’ve got such a headache… it really stormed last night, supposed to keep on today… Wish I didn’t have to go to work in a few minutes… I’ve got to email a bunch of stuff that I’ve been putting off…
