#0004 – The Queen Travels
Based on McCall’s 8915 from 1952.
As soon as I saw this pattern with the overlaid top that turns into a shawl I knew I was going to use it for the travel gown. What a neat concept that worked perfectly with all the chiffon overlaying velvet of the original costume. Added another skirt and moved the headband down to the belt, and added a headwrap.
