#0002 – The Queen Escapes
Based on Vogue 601 circa 1951.
I liked the ruched bodice and overskirt of the original pattern, I thought that would look cool with the black velvet of the original costume. Added a scarf/shawl combo as a stand-in for the hood and big sleeves of the original, and kept the lace underskirt but also moved it up to be a shirt under the bodice as well.
