We have 11 days left to finish these costumes.
At least four of those days are weekend days where we don’t have to go anywhere!
I’ve been working on Belle pretty much all week, and Chase is working on Beast.
To-do list:
Belle:
Finish last organza swag for the bottom of the skirt
Sew skirt swags together
Make waistband, finish off skirt
Put zipper in
finish beading
Attach roses (I’ll probably handsew the top ones on, and glue the ones on the skirt at this point).
Finish styling wig
Make hair accessories
Dye gloves
Decorate shoes
I THINK I can finish all of that on Saturday.
Batgirl:
Finish gloves
Help Chase with gauntlets
Make belt
Make boot covers
Put zipper in suit
Sew on some snaps for the cape
Cath’s costume
Finish sculpting belt buckle
Sew in front panel (can’t do this til she comes try it on)
Sew (or glue, at this point) on trim
Attach lacings
Figure out a necklace
Sew in lower sleeves
