I’m in my final 4 “Alt Reality” Padmes – this one was based on some concept art showing Padme carrying the twins in a furry backpack! I loved that idea. I tried to find some references of both Carrie and Mark as babies to use (Carrie was obv easier to find than Mark…), but I don’t think it made much difference, they both look like generic babies LOL
I wanted this all to be soft and loose and easier to wear for a new mom carting twins around in a papoose. The top would be soft green suede; similar shape to her Mustafar top and held in place with criss-crossing leather bands of the carrier. Bell sleeves that end at the elbow, and lower fitted sleeves of a darker green knit. (Scarf/collar matches the lower sleeves).
Loose, soft grey pants of a jersey are tucked into grey boots with upper brown leather spats. Hair is held back in segmented ponytails with silver metal bands and a small tiara.
I imagine the carrier is made of wookiee hair. Ethically sourced of course! Maybe pulled off a wookiee’s hairbrush.
