Had a couple of things influence this one; the concept art was very art nouveau, and the flowers in her hair and drapey-ness of the dress put me in the mid of pre-raphaelite drowning Ophelia paintings. Which was also kinda Funeral dress-esque? So I decided to kinda go with that colour theme but a “happier” version, LOL. Deep blues and teals, all velvet with swirl burnout motifs.
It’s not one of my favourites of the project; I don’t dislike it, but I do wish I’d drawn it from an angle more to the side to show the fullness of the dress, sleeves and hair better.
