So like I said above, I had no plans to do a Rose costume. But I got this jacket from the_dveri on the DW livejournal, and since my friend was finishing her Ood costume for Dragoncon, I figured I’d go ahead and put it together to match 🙂 I did not go for any kind of accuracy, just for fun.
Jacket:
I did not make this! It was made by the_dveri, from the livejournal DW Costuming group.
Shirt/Pants:
The shirt I got from Target – doesn’t match 100% but it’s all right and became a regular in my own wardrobe after this. I bought a pair of jeans online but they didn’t fit well, so I returned them and ended up just wearing my Donna jeans.
Boots/Belt:
The belt I had, and that’s the main part I’d like to replace if I upgrade it at any point. Boots I already had as well.
Wig:
The wig I bought online; it’s not quite as long or as full as I would have liked, but it’s pretty. I coloured the roots with a brown sharpie.
History:
I only wore this to GMX and for a bit on Halloween that year. It took a few years to finally get it shot on the white backdrop, and now that that is done, I intend to sell it to a new home sometime soon.
