So, haven’t had much to post lately.
I finished up the main part of Ash’s Mary costume, I’m quite happy with how it turned out. We just need to get her shirt fabric, and making the shirt won’t take long. Hem her skirt and weather it all and we’re good to go and I can mark another one off my list.
I did get a good start on Cath’s Winnie costume. I’ve got the whole thing cut out and mostly put together – it’s all hemmed already! I just need to attach the sleeves and collar, and then dye the whole thing, which will be scary. Hoping to do that this weekend.
On the Time Lord project front, finally ordered the last bit of fabric we needed. Once that comes in I can get those pieces made for all 4, get them attached and hemmed. Then I need to finish the under-robe sections, which won’t be difficult. Need to figure out belts, still.
I didn’t work on much last night except testing making roses for Belle, here’s the first one:

I plan to get some of the skirt knocked out this weekend, and the shoulder wrap piece.
I also really need to get started on Batgirl, I’m starting to slightly panic over it. I’ve got part of my fabric, but I still have more to order. I’m going to pattern it out this weekend and start cutting what I can, if I can get part of it put together this weekend I’ll feel much better about it, I think.
So, to do list –
Sarah Sanderson – 95%: finished except weathering, skirt closure and re-inforcing eyelets
Winnie Sanderson – 30%: Finish putting it together, dye. Paint designs on. Find a closure that will work, attach trim and lower sleeves. Buy fabric for underdress, make the underdress. Style the wig.
Mary Sanderson – 70%: Hem skirt, make shirt, make necklace, style wig.
Time Lords – 80%: make collar pieces and attach. Hem. Cut backs to under-robes and put them together, hem. Put in pockets. Figure out belts.
Ash’s Time Lord – 5%: uh everything! Need a bit more fabric to be able to put it together. But it will go fast.
Wasp – 80%: Take skirt up. Make upper gloves. Make headphones.
Belle – 30%: Put bodice pieces together. Make shoulder piece. Make more roses. Make drape sections for skirt. Embellish everything. Find shoes. Style wig.
Batgirl – 5%: pattern suit. Cut pieces, put suit together. Find boots. Buy yellow fabric, more black fabric. Figure out belt and gauntlets…. oh so much to do.
