I had to do a fabric store run for class the other day, and while I was there noticed they had the patterns on sale. I picked up the Simplicity Padme Battle suit/Aayla Secura pattern, the Jedi pattern, and also the McCall’s Lavender Nightgown pattern – I might throw that together for MidSouthCon next year, I like the pattern 🙂

That purple handmaiden costume – love at first sight! I’d never noticed that before. Purple velvet? OMG.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Ep3 purple senate dress. Man. That makes my heart skip a beat.
Thanks to these pictures I have been seized with a mad desire to remake my lake dress properly. I was kinda planning it for next year, but now it’s definite! I think for MidSouthCon next year. It’s still far and away my favourite costume of Padme’s, I’d like to do it justice 🙂
