March of Dimes event pics!
Well first off – the hotel messed up the rooms, and the March of Dimes people came over and straightened out as best they could – we ended up with a big suite for all of us. It was pretty nice! I wish the Marriott had something like that for Dragoncon that wasn’t like, you know, $5000 a night or…

ZooBoo Pics
Memphis ZooBoo was LAME compared to the Nashville zoo. We basically just wandered around, got free ice cream sandwiches. Chase got some attention, a handful of photos with kids, but I might as well have been wearing normal clothes (I was in Leia, since it turned out too cold and drizzly last night for WW or Belle) We had fun…

Heart of an Empire premiere
This weekend was an odd mix; not sure I enjoyed the trip, but all in all I’m glad I went, since the movie was good. We set out Friday as soon as Chase got home from work — after several stops (gas, dinner, snacks, stretching legs, changing drivers, etc — you’d think it was a 9 hour drive the way…

Make a Wish Troop & Padme Pics!
WOW!! The Make-a-Wish event in Clarksville yesterday was awesome! The event was supposed to be from 1-3, we ended up staying until 4 because there were SO many people there, still waiting in line to get pictures with us! I couldn’t believe how many people showed up — we raised almost $1400! I didn’t take many pictures, but here they…

Timothy Zahn Signing Pics! & Leia updates
Well, I Istill/i haven’t worked on anything lately. I did get my ceremonial Leia skirt pieces out and washed them, since it had gotten something on it while laying around in the sewing room (who knows what, probably paint or something. It came off). Hoth Leia, Padme Nightgown and Dorothy updates
This weekend is Horrorfest; I’m trying to get Hoth Leia finished for it. I had been up since 5:45 yesterday,…

Since I did the Wonderfest post over at my other journal, I’ll do the COSI one here! A strange crew on the falcon… Friday! Ash and I left Chase’s apt and took a cab to the airport. The cab showed up 20 minutes earlier than it was supposed to, so we got to the airport waaaaaaay early. Flight was uneventful,…
