KC WW stuff, Boushh, etc

Boushh pants are nearly done! I like how they look. They really just need weathering, now. Chase worked on the helmet for a long time last night, too. He got most of the leather on, I think. We're still fighting with the cummerbund pieces, though... hopefully we'll get them done soon. I worked on WW for a long time last night, because Chase finished the grommets for me. I was ...

Finished Padme, and other updates

Finished padme last night. I can pack her up. And my new slave leia boots, and dyeing my endor poncho. It's a little on the light side, I may dye it again -- AFTER Dcon. I'm tired of fooling with it, now. Chase worked on my Boushh helmet most of the night, and we started attaching my Boushh knees. Tonight, more Boushh knees, Wonder Woman stuff, and Marasiah stuff. One ...

Progress, KC WW, Padme

Finally finished all the colouring on the stupid cape. Really, had to make myself stop - I keep messing with this thing for forever, but I don't have time for it. Now i just need to finish up all the bloody sequins and sewing the lining in, and fix the neckline on the dress, and it's finished. That's basically all I did last night, since I was so close to ...

Kingdom Come Wonder Woman Helmet

Ok I lied, Chase took pics this morning. Still needs the chin added. This is what he says about it: "Ok, here are the finals of what I will call the stunt helmet. This version has some very flexible plastic feathers to permit her to wear it over a wig and give slightly when she turns her head as the wig will flow. The helmet will also come close or ...

Updates on everything, KC WW, Boushh, etc

I did not get as much done this weekend as I would have liked, but things are coming along. One thing I didn't get a picture of was my upgraded Wonder Woman tiara - I finally found a star the right size and shape, and Chase painted it and attached it last night, and buffed the whole thing. I still need him to finish my other metal pieces and buff ...

Marasiah and Endor Leia progress

I finished the designs on marasiah, yesterday, and also got my boots attached. Most of yesterday was spent on my endor poncho. I had to remake it - I'll explain why, later. It didn't take long - probably two hours, and I fixed some of the problems with the first one. Last night we ended up mostly doing nothing -- I read a lot, we went to the grocery store, ...

Boushh and Kenner Leia progress

I actually got quite a bit done last night! Doll Leia is done, except for the belt, which will take all of 10 minutes to do, and putting a fastener on the collar. It cracks me up, I don't think I've ever made anything so dumb looking LOL. Finished my endor helmet - added the bill. Fixed my rebel Leia shirt. Boushh tunic is completely done, and we boiled the knees ...

Boushh, Boots and Plans

Didn't feel very well last night - so I spent a while just laying in bed, watching Law Order and sewing on the rest of the bloodstripes, and picking out that seam on doll Leia I needed to. I finished both! Hurrah, I guess, LOL. Before that I did get my Boushh tunic cut out. Somehow one of the front pieces is smaller than it should be, but a little ...

Boushh, Han and Kenner Leia Updates

I've started having dragoncon dreams - a little later than usual! Two weeks from now I go pick up the van... eek. We're actually hoping to be in Atlanta around 7 or so on Thursday. That's the earliest we've ever gotten there, except for 2005 when we got there Thursday afternoon because we had Phantom of the Opera tickets. Anyway - we figured out the Boushh knees last night, and Chase thinned ...

to-do list 8/13/07

Aw. Marasiah and doll Leia may have to be on hold. I haven't done anything with them in ages, and I've got so much left to do on everything else, I don't know when I'd have time to finish them right now. I worked on my Boushh pants some more yesterday, got my boots painted, worked on the boot tops, and worked on the Padme cape and my Wonder Woman ...
