Man the last few days have been hectic beyond belief!
I’ve finished Ozma, Lessa and Hermione. I’ve made 2 sets of hobbit feet and painted two sets of hobbit ears and put in countless grommets (but that’s ok because I love putting in grommets!)
Padme and Ash’s masquerade costume are the only things left.
For Padme, the headpiece is nearly done, I’ve just got about an hour or so’s work left on it. I dyed everything tonight, which was a lot of fun, but then I’m weird like that. I had one colour in the dying tub, one in one side of the kitchen sink, another in the other side, and one in the bathtub. The one in the bathtub made a mess, my bathtub is tinged slightly green now (which is better than the time I dyed something red in there… it looked like someone had been murdered)
I’ve finished the corset, the base dress, part of the decoration and all the gauzy parts.
I’ve just got to finish the decoration things, and attach all the stuff I dyed… and the only thing I haven’t even started on, the necklace – I need to do that.
All that’s left of Ash’s is attaching the hair, the eyes, doing the mouth and figuring out the ears.
I had some funny pictures from when Ash and her mom were over working the other day, but I loaned my camera out and haven’t gotten the disc back.
btw, watched Ella Enchanted yesterday – it was pretty darn cute. I really liked her blue cloak… if I can find some pretty material like it I may make myself one, just because I love cloaks and wish more people would wear them everyday, because that would be cool.
Well it’s that time isn’t it? In fact I may be late with it – tentative costume schedule for Dragoncon.
(we get in thursday night… all times are just ‘general’ times… I’m not really going to go change at 12PM on the dot, but somewhere around then, duh)

Monday – PoA Hermione (though probably not as Hermione – won’t bother with my hair and will probably wear different shoes)

ash’s mom will be wearing her hobbit costume (Tootsie Proudfoot the Hobbit Ho, as we’ve been calling her) saturday morning for the parade, and her Moreta of Pern saturday night for the Pern gather. My mom will be wearing her hobbit costume for the parade and her Menolly of Pern costume for the Pern Gather.
I’m just rambling because I don’t feel like doing anything else…
