Enchantress boots progress

I’ve nearly got the bodice done – I’m trying to decide if I want to keep the busk in the front or go without. I’m not liking how it fits with the busk at the moment. I’m thinking it might be better if I shorten it, so Chase is trimming it down for me tonight. Then I’ll see again, if I still don’t like it I’ll go without, and get the thing finished.
I made my belt yesterday. Looks like crap, but that’s because I have no light green thread, so I couldn’t top stitch. I’ll look at it again once I get some light green thread.
I made my boots last night, and started sewing on the circles today. (who my very kind husband cut out for me, he made up patterns based on my horrible sketches and started cutting out all the circles last night. He cuts much more cleanly than I do.)

Had a snow day, so I'm starting on my Enchantress boots. My loving and patient husband cut out each circle for me, from green spandex. He has a steadier hand than I do :) This is one of my boot pieces, sewn up the front -- I've got the circles pinned and ready to be sewn. I'll start out handsewing them just to keep them in place, then go back over them with the machine.Kelldar.com | My Facebook Page | Tumblr | Instagram
We have a late start to work today because of the snow, so I’m taking advantage of my extra time!
I’m really hoping to be done with this by next week. I have tomorrow off and I’ll be sewing circles on all day. After that’s done – finish belt, attach skirt pieces, finish bodice, and then really for me it’s just the gloves left. Which I really haven’t thought about too much. Chase is making my headpiece.
