when ozma changed in every picture

Mom pulled out an album of old pictures… man. I look SO much like my dad.
If I had my scanner hooked up, I’d scan some of them. Alas, alas.

Good news tho, I’m ‘inheriting’ my aunt’s printer. Which is a fine printer, it’s just not working very well right now. Between dad and myself I’m sure we can get it working fine again. Which means I’ll finally have a colour printer at home. Hoorah! Which reminds me, I need to finish Alicey’s shirt. I’ve had the stuff, I just haven’t printed the transfer. I’ll see about sending it to dad’s office and getting it printed… yeah.

I want to finish Ozma… going to work on it whenever I’m not working on all this other crap. I’d like to get it done in the next 2 weeks or so, so I can take it to the Dixon and take some pics of it while the weather is nice and the flowers are blooming.

I love John R Neill’s artwork, but he couldn’t seem to make up his mind… her dress and hairstyle and crown, etc, they all change from picture to picture, and book to book (more understandable book to book – I mean, she would have other dresses!). So I’m just doing my own thing with Ozma. I’m so tempted to see if anybody else out there going to Dragoncon would like to join me in a John R Neill-illustration-inspired Oz group, but I hate trying to organize that kind of stuff. I may just ask, but I’ll not pursue it… I’d adore to get a picture with a cute little blonde Dorothy… or even cooler, something like a Patchwork Girl!

Ok, enough rambling for one night.
