I went home sick again. Feeling worse than the day before, I’m pretty sure it’s sinus stuff. But I’m better today, head’s still foggy but better.
I did get a little work done last night. I got my base shirt for the “wood” part made. Got the front pleats sewn back down correctly. But I forgot to take any kind of pictures. I watched Project Runway on the couch and finished my Anne Boleyn necklace cuz I was exhausted.
I can’t believe, with only 2 weeks and some change before the con, we are going to my grandma’s this weekend. But I’ve felt the need to get away and have a nice Mema weekend so I guess it’s needed. I’m taking my leather strips for the “wood” with me to work on.
I let Luna come in my sewing room with me yesterday. She’s ran in there a couple of times before and gotten booted just as quickly, but since I had cleaned up, I let her come in and snoop around while I was in there. She was pretty good except for the one time she jumped at my Anne dress (water bottle squirt) and trying to play under the Johanna skirt on the dressform (water bottle squirt) so she learned pretty quickly not to do that, and once she was bored with my office, she went and slept on the bed in the bedroom, where she could still see me at at sewing table.
Then she fell asleep in my lap while watching Project Runway.
