Last night I pulled out my Meg wig stuff and started playing with it to get ideas.
Just slapped together to see how everything is looking. I need to sew my wefts into the wig cap before I actually do anything – the wig I got wasn’t made for up-dos, so I need to add some extra hair to cover up the places that aren’t working. Then I’m going to make a small foam form to sew the ponytails onto.
I also played around with my own hair last night. I did a test run of doing my Leia buns a different way. It worked out great – only it made it WAY more obvious that my hair does not at all match my Leia extensions anymore (the old way was SLIGHTLY less obvious… but still pretty bad LOL). I realized I had a couple of red hair extensions still in the bag I’d bought for Giselle so I pulled those out, and while they’re a little more saturated than my own hair colour, it’s at least closer than my brown extensions. So I MAY be a totally red haired-Leia tomorrow… or I may just do it my old way and keep my hood on my head, LOL.
