Sunday was our one year anniversary š
I planned the weekend as a surprise – Chase usually plans all special “events” like birthdays and valentine’s, so I thought I would do this one. We left Friday and drove to Heber Springs, AR, and stayed in a bed-and-breakfast.
The whole weekend was just lazy, wandering around looking at stuff – which is exactly what we wanted. We didn’t have to be anywhere or do anything particular. We looked at some of the nature areas and checked out the dam, and the town was having a Springfest, so we went to that, saw the classic car shows. It was nice, and the place we stayed was nice with great food.
We came home Sunday and only bump in the weekend was someone tried to break into Chase’s car that afternoon. After we got home he went back down to midtown to shoot pics of my cousin’s play, and when he came back out somebody had completely pulled the handle out of the passenger side door trying to get in. Luckily they didn’t succeed.
We haven’t tried the cake top yet. I forgot to thaw it Sunday, and then, while I remembered to set it out yesterday, we forgot to eat it. So, maybe today.
