I’m leaving for Katsucon! Let’s hope the rain here slacks up so I can take off, and the snow slacks up there on Sunday so I can come home. 😀 As usual I have no idea when I’ll be wearing what. I try to plan it out beforehand but it never works that way. Here are the costumes I’m taking……

Did anyone notice I UPDATED yesterday? Isn’t that amazing?? Tomorrow morning I have to get up at 4:30 to go to the airport 🙁 But I only have on suitcase and my carry on bag! Does anybody know about DVD players and like, the x-ray machine and stuff? It won’t hurt it will it?

Last minute
Well, folks. Ash and I are off to Animazement. Check out my livejournal for some various costume ramblings, but here’s my tentative costume schedule: Friday – Xiaoyu, Misato Saturday – She-Ra, Lulu Sunday – Misato or Utena Ash will be wearing Xiaoyu, Ritsuko, and Ranma throughout the weekend, too. Hotels
We found a hotel in Nashville…. we’re going to stay there Thursday night and then get up there and catch our 6AM flight to Durham for Animazement. That way we won’t have to drive all night and then be dragging all day friday. Ash is considering going to Dragoncon with us. Plus, if she goes to Dragoncon, it cuts down…

Animazement plans…
Whoohoo! I booked our flight for Animazement. I guess that makes it official now! We leave Nashville at 7:30 AM on friday and get into Raleigh/Durham at 9:40. It was the same price as the first tickets I found, which left Nashville at 7:00, stopped over in Cincinnati (sp?) and didn’t get into Raleigh/Durham until around noon. Heh! Too bad…

Oh, I forgot! Could someone who has flown recently (since September 11) tell me how the security check goes, the deal with carry-ons and all that? I’m going to have to fly twice this year, at least (to Animazement and Otakon) and I want to know these things so that I can plan ahead. Should I just not carry anything…
