and again the old room after we moved in for reference: Look at the bathroom door in comparison to the trim - that yellow-y colour is what all the trim and doors in our house is. Ick! Chase will be removing the door to repaint them white soon, and we're replacing the hardware on the doors, too.

This is going to sound weird but I really hate tile. I mean like tile on the floor, like kitchen or bathroom floors. It just grosses me out for some reason. I got a lot of sewing done last night, enough to make me feel like I accomplished something. I got Jane's top done, except for the little belt piece. Got the zipper put back in, the collar finished, and the sleeves finished. I've got to make the separate little piece for the collar now, and like I said, put the belt piece on. So here's some pics of what we did yesterday! I finished painting it last weekend, as you may have read... yesterday we put up most of the shelves and unpacked what we could, and put the new futon together. You can see the edge of the main shelves there on the right. And the other side... with a creeper hanging out in the corner!
Since we got the wallpaper down last weekend, that meant it was finally time to paint. We finished yesterday. OMG YAY! I'm really pleased with the colour, I was a little nervous about it. Especially since we picked it out and bought it back in September, I'd kinda forgotten what it looked like! And today's Princess is Iridessa.
