Haunted Mansion Skirt
My “Haunted Mansion” wallpaper print skirt made for our 2013 Disney trip.
I bought this fabric off spoonflower. I used Simplicity 2286 – just a simple gathered skirt with a waistband. After our initial trip, I went back and shortened it a couple of inches this because I felt like it was too long.
In 2014 when I was making my Anne Boleyn coronation dress, I decided I wanted to go ahead and make a new corset too, instead of using my old one. I had just enough scraps left from the skirt to use as the outer layer for the new corset.
I just wish I’d had enough black bias tape for all the edges! I didn’t want to go buy more though so I only used what I had!
