Random post of Randomness: House Stuff, etc
So I was going to upload my Timegate photos tonight but never got around to it because I started reorganizing the kitchen. I didn’t mean to reorganize the kitchen, I was just filling up our new shelf in the kitchen, but it just escalated like those things do. Here’s the new shelf! The island on the bottom right corner is…

I was addicted to taipei for years, and I recently downloaded it again and have been playing it on my computer and ipad. I decided to make a custom tile set – just some of my fav things, not a distinct theme, but here it is – Represented: Doctor Who, Star Wars, Disney, Marvel & DC, Indiana Jones, Tron, Back…

Today in history… 1564 – Playwright William Shakespeare was baptized in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, England 1803 – Thousands of meteor fragments fall from the skies of L’Aigle, France; the event convinces European science that meteors exist. 1865 – Union cavalry troopers corner and shoot dead John Wilkes Booth, assassin of President Lincoln, in Virginia. 1923 – The Duke of York weds…

christmas 2011 part 2
Christmas is all over. It never really felt like Christmas to start with, it was weird. But, I thought I’d share a few things I got. First I forgot to mention that we got a new bench/trunk for the end of our bed, and a sofa table for the living from my aunt. Both much needed! Here’s my pic of…

Christmas 2011 gifts!
I made a couple of presents this year! First, for my youngest cousin, I made a little reversible dress-up cape. Purple is her favourite colour so I went with a lavender velvet for one side, and sparkley purple for the other. It was a fun little project. Next, I made an ornament out of felt for my aunt, of her…

Christmas 2011 Tree!
Made the decision to go ahead and decorate on Thursday: We haven’t finished painting the living room or finished the new mantle – but I couldn’t wait; if I’d waited on all that to be done we’d probably wouldn’t have put the tree up til February. Ha. So excuse the unfinished mantle, but it’s nice to have the tree next…

Thanksgiving 2011 & Puzzle
Happy Thanksgiving 🙂 Had a nice day – had Thanksgiving lunch with the family and having dinner at home watching Toy Story with Chase. He’s eating leftovers, and I’m having chicken spaghetti made by my friend’s mom. Yum! I’m actually off tomorrow – I’m usually not – so we’re spending the day cleaning, finishing up what we can of the…

Disney Trip Surprise w/Belle!
Got to do something fun last night 🙂 Friend of mine’s family is going to Disneyworld for Thanksgiving and it’s their niece’s first time there. I got to stop by their house (dressed in Belle) and give her a gift (her own Cinderella dress, tiara and light up shoes). She was really, really sweet and adorable. I hope she has…

Cleaning my Sewing Room, etc
Still working on getting my sewing room straightened up and organized. Chase put my new shelves up last night, so I put my bead jars on them – this was the plan from the start, but it took me 2 years to finally get around to getting the shelves. I think I might get one more small one, because I…

Halloween 2011
Put on Snow White to hand out candy tonight – ran out of candy way sooner than we expected! My favourite was an older kid wearing a gorilla mask and a convict-type suit, carrying a Disney Princess bag. He didn’t say anything but kept pointing to Snow White on his bag excitedly, LOL. Here’s our pumpkins – Snow White –…

Our Pumpkins – 2011
We went and picked out pumpkins last night and carved them! Well, Chase and Ash carved pumpkins, I emptied ours out (the only part I like) and then sat in the living room and watched Simpsons’ Halloween specials until they were done LOL Ash did a Cyberman: And Chase did one of ours, Mike Wazowski: We’re also doing a Sully…

I haven’t posted about my birthday – I’m a little behind, my birthday was two weeks ago, LOL. But it was a fun one. Woke up that morning to Chase having decorated the living room, and with my presents on the coffee table…. He got me an Adipose, which was like the one thing I asked for, Disney Beauty &…
