So I remade the side pieces, and was a little more careful cutting around the tabs this time (a little too much so… I hardly have any tabs LOL) But it feels and fits much better, so whatever. I finished my Marie corset, only to be totally unhappy with the fit. It’s “ok” right now – a tad big. I already took it up a a ton and it’s still overlapping in spots. The tabs along the bottom are stretching out too far, and it’s not pulling tight around my waist – the only place it’s pulling tight…
