So I'm still doing my little project of going back through old pictures and uploading new versions. What I accomplished in 2008 (and what I didn't, LOL) Well it was weird year for me, costume-wise, because the first part of the year was eaten by my wedding, both financially and time-wise. I've finished my Padme lake gown (4th version!) and have added it to my portfolio!
I put it on the mannequin to take some finished pics, since the mannequin has arms to hold the sleeves up. She's considerably taller than me, so the train isn't as long as it should be, but it still works! And a few on the dressform too:
Very nearly done. The dyeing went really well, and I loooove how the georgette took the dye. Just needs a few more tweaks, and to finish the accessories. Hoping to have it up on ebay soon, for some extra cash for the honeymoon :)
