Chronologically I placed this one as later Queen Amidala costume, post-TPM. This was an interesting one to interpret… it was a black and white sketch and the giant, wide hair made it look very alien. I tried to keep that alien-element as much as possible while still also trying to make it “real”. I imagined most of this as white and navy blue velvet, with an underdress of yards and yards of lightweight grey, misty chiffon. And of course the giant, horizontal hair!
