Witchy Dress

This is a costume I made for a friend; I did not do a full build page but you can check the random sewing tag from around October 2021 for more details.

My friend Frankie and I often trade off services, he does my hair and I do some sewing, it works out great. For Halloween 2021 he brought this black witchy dress idea to me.

The whole thing is made of black charmeuse fabric trimmed with this beautiful lace trim. The skirt is a basic skirt with a long train. The bodice has cotton lining and spiral steel boning, lace-up back and lace trim, with floor length sleeves and long train. The lace-up detail in the front is just for show.

I’m really kinda obsessed with how it turned out and I want one for myself too!
